Welcome to Immaculate Conception Preschool!

Our main goal is to aid in the development of each individual child, with a great emphasis on self-esteem and independence. Activities will be planned to facilitate your child’s growth socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Social skills will be emphasized, as communication and cooperation are essential in everyday experiences.

Your child’s preschool day will feature a balance of large group teacher directed activities (stories, games, music, etc.) and child selected smaller group activities at our classroom learning center areas. Learning centers are the best way for students to explore and manipulate their environment while developing individuality. Centers will include: Art, Math/Manipulative, Science/Discovery, Sensory Learning, Writing, Snack, and Language Arts/Reading. Our four-year-old religion program is called “Stories of God’s Love.”

We look forward to parent involvement in our class. We will be looking for volunteers for special activities. At times, school activities may be sent home as a special project or story to be share at home. A strong link between school and home keeps a child feeling positive and secure about school. Parents and children should always feel comfortable to come with any questions, comments, or concerns that they may have to the Preschool teacher.

4-year-old preschoolers meet M/W/F mornings or afternoons and may also opt to join the 3/4-year-old mixed class on Tues/Thurs.
