Every Friday during Lent is a day of abstinence from meat. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of both Fast & Abstinence. For persons aged 18-59, only one small meal is allowed. Two smaller meals together equaling less than one full meal may be taken if needed to maintain strength.
